"We need members to attend our monthly meetings. It is the only way to stay informed on what is happening at the post and the only way to be a part of the decision making for the post. At this time we have a few members making decisions for everyone. Come out and make your membership count."
Special Son's Function June 28th From 4-6 there will be a cookout. Cost is $10.00 a person, this will cover the food and the Karaoke which will start at 8pm. There will also be a $2.00 ccharge to enter the Corn Hole tournament. The money raised will go to cover the Life membership for the past commander Gene Hartley. Come out and join the fun." First of all let me say it feels great to be back. After searching and speculating on where we would go next, we have a new home. With all the support and hard work, we are finally in our new post and the possibilities are greater than we had in the past with AmVets, Ladies Aux and the Son’s working together. We at AmVets post 123 have a bright future at our new post. We need all our old members back and we need new members also. We need all members working on the same page, we don’t need members with their own agendas. So please people lets work together. Lets praise the whole post not individuals. Lets don’t get caught up in he said, she said or we will remain as in the past. I for one am excited about the future but respectful of the past so to be a much stronger post. Very special thanks to AmVets State Commander Wayne Randall after a conversation we had last week when he called the post and gave 110% support to what we’re working for. We all hope you the best and we are looking forward to your visit. Also, to my commander Joe Eaves who I called on several occasions for guidance, you are more than our commander, you are our friend. Thanks Joe.

P.S. Please People, this is AmVets Post 123 and All Rules and By Laws are as they’ve always been. This post is still controlled by the AmVets. They have and always will have the final say in all matters concerning the post. The Son’s of this post have done a lot of the work
and are working side by side with the AmVets at the post. The Sons held Karaoke for the benefit of "Wolf" Wright. He recently had been in the hospital and $500 was raised to help him and his family.
The Son's are having Karaoke on February 16th. Come join the fun......

Every Thursday night is Ladies night along with Karaoke from 6 until Close, Pool tournaments every Thursday as well.
